Number eight….

Blood work = good. That means, after today’s chemo, half of the treatments will be done!

YES! A good nap was had – I even had a vistor, although I only VAGUELY remember his visit – it was good to sort of see you John! Thanks for coming!!!! I just couldn’t quite come out of my nap coma right then.

Ah – the light at the end of the tunnel…. I can see it – I really can!

Worries – well, my neuts took a big hit this week, and I had that neupogen shot. However, when you take that shot, you tell your bone marrow to do one thing, and it does that one thing, almost to the exclusion of everything else. Which means, my platelets are at risk of dropping…. So, we will execute the plan of this week – Monday morning blood work with neupogen if needed (likely).

Hopes – light at the end of the tunnel – it keeps getting a little bit closer and a little bit closer… I hope it gets a little bit closer next week. Also, it’s a taxol only week, so maybe I’ll feel stronger on the race course this week.

GOAL – mmmmm – I’m setting a fundraising goal for cyclocross dollar hand-ups. TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS – if you come out to the races, please help me blow that out of the mud! It is cyclocross afterall!
